This project will work with leading researchers to identify discrete problems in the US health care system that raise health spending. We will then offer evidence-based recommendations on how to fix these problems. We will continually update the project with new briefs outlining new recommendations on how to tamp out waste. Step by step, we hope to offer a roadmap of tangible reforms that can lower the costs of health care domestically. We want to harness the best ideas from academic literature and support leading thinkers to create policy recommendations. Our goal is to produce accessible briefs that rely on the best evidence available and offer concrete steps for reform.
