Daniel Kessler is the David S. and Ann M. Barlow Professor in Management at Stanford Graduate School of Business and a professor at Stanford Law School.
His research includes empirical studies in antitrust law, law and economics, and the economics of health care. His recent work is on the effect of hospital mergers and ownership on the cost and quality of care. Professor Kessler has won awards for his advising and research from Stanford University, the National Institute for Health Care Management Foundation, and the International Health Economics Association.
